Durgabai Deshmukh College of Special Education (Visual Impairment) is affiliated with the prestigious University of Delhi. The college is known for its exceptional academic standards since its establishment in 2006. The College is a Trust College, established and run by the Blind Relief Association, Delhi, a premier Non-Government Organization working in the field of Visual Impairment since 1944. The College is also under section 2(f) and 12-B of University Grants Commission Act 1956. The College is running a teacher education program that serves as a model in the field of Disability and Inclusion for other institutes around in the country. The College is playing its significant role in endorsing and implementing the vision of National Education Policy 2020 by engaging and organizing various activities and programs envisioned in the policy. The policy's revolutionary vision embodies our country built upon the pillars of justice, equity, affordability, and accessibility. In keeping with this vision, we embrace the responsibility of shaping the educational landscape with a profound sense of purpose.
